A millionaire lived in a barn for 15 years, and until his neighbors came to see him, they made fun of him.

For a long time, the old barn was used to store trucks and hay. Then, one day, a man bought it and decided to live in it.

The neighbors didn’t like the barn even before it was bought because they thought it was too simple.

But when a millionaire chose it as his home, people thought he was crazy.

Before he asked his friends to come see him, the barn owner was talked about behind his back for 15 years.

Alan Yeomans, an Englishman, bought an old barn on the edge of Derbyshire and turned it into a home.

On the other hand, he was prepared. Even though it was just a barn, he wanted the place to keep its old-fashioned look.

So, he added insulation to the outside of the barn, but he used the same materials that were used to build other barns. He put old stone on part of the building’s face, which, according to the neighbors, made it look even more run-down.

The front of the house was brighter than the back, but no one in the neighborhood noticed.

Alan wore simple clothes even though he was wealthy, and his strange neighbors were happy to talk about him.

This went on for 15 years, until the man invited people over for dinner.

Alan told everyone about his plan when he built his house. The man made a big room inside the barn, even though the outside looked boring. The building showed nothing at all about its past.

There are original drawings on the walls, old gold-inlaid furniture, and new tools.

Part of the house was used to make a shed. It turned out that Yeomans liked collecting old cars a lot.

On the same day, there was no mockery to be seen. But the man quit talking to his friends after that.
