An American woman described her child’s experience with Down syndrome. The girl’s future was forecast by the doctors to be grim, and the mother was even given the choice of leaving her kid or placing her in a special facility. After chatting with a midwife whose daughter was also born with Down syndrome, she decided against those possibilities, and she hasn’t looked back.

The mother was given the go-ahead by the doctors to give up her Down syndrome kid, but she refused.

A woman named Rene claimed that 15 years ago, she was given the option of giving up Kennedy, who had Down syndrome. Kennedy’s mother said that doctors created a dire image of her daughter’s future, warning her that her child would not have a normal life and would still be wearing diapers as an adult. Even the doctors recommended the mother to abandon the child or put her in a special institution.

Rene made the choice to raise her daughter independently rather than leave her.

After an uncomfortable conversation with doctors who informed her that she had a child with Down syndrome, Rene went to see a midwife the following day. The midwife informed Rene about her daughter and gave her encouragement for the future.
Kennedy’s battle, however, did not finish there; she was later given a leukemia diagnosis and underwent spinal surgery to correct anomalies that may have resulted in paralysis. However, the girl is now dancing since the manipulations were so effective!

Kennedy’s family provided her with attention, which contributed to her healing and success.
